Upon arriving at Marina del Cantone you will make the acquaintance of our staff, who will provide you with all the necessary equipment and explain the itinerary.

Climbing aboard the kayak, in the company of an experienced local guide, you will begin paddling toward the Bay of Ieranto, an inlet at the tip of the Sorrento peninsula that has fascinated men and poets of all ages. In the Odyssey, these crystalline waters are mentioned as the home of the Sirens. According to Homer, these half-fish, half-woman creatures used to capture sailors with their seductive chant. Today we know that Sirens are only a legend, but the magic of these places is so real that we can include the Bay of Ieranto in the 5 most picturesque places on the Sorrento Coast.

After admiring the coast you can stop at one of the small beaches to relax in the sun or do some snorkeling. Nearby, there are many coves and small caves where you can spot a wealth of wildlife; the lucky ones might even encounter hippocampi and sea turtles. The kayaking experience ends at Marina del Cantone after about 2 hours.

The kayak tour is not suitable for people who cannot swim. We recommend to be prepared with swimsuit, sunscreen, sunglasses and a bottle of water.
